India's Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has a specialized service Unit for Research and Development of Information Products (URDIP) which is involved in the pre-research and pre-development phase of the research projects, by providing intellectual property and techno-commercial information services.
URDIP provides value added information services to wide array of clients including start-up companies, SMEs, Research Institutes within and outside CSIR, large Indian Corporate and Multinational Corporations. Its primary clients include R&D, legal, new business development and multi-functional corporate teams.
CSIR-URDIP, till now, has prepared nearly 2500 reports for clients in the area of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, polymers, materials and a few engineering projects. These reports have been well received.
We continue to be very happy with the quality of analysis from URDIP for our projects. I would like to explore possible additional capabilities that you have available, mostly relating to botanicals and natural extracts.
We are in receipt of your project report and attachments. The charts are great and the grouping analysis will prove very helpful in our assessment of the area. That assessment already involves discussion on future project requests in the same vein. Any ideas you have are certainly welcome. Again, thanks for the excellent work. I look forward to working with URDIP again.
Please let me tell you how pleased we are with the report. I would definitely like URDIP to think of this as a model report for us and to approach other reports in the same manner. All of the feedback I have received has been very positive. As you are putting together the final report, think about opportunities we might have to file patents in this area, in other words - open space in the patent art and help us understand those as well.
Thank you very much indeed, this is exactly what we asked for and exactly what got delivered. I will try and speak to the client either today or tomorrow but as far as I can see he should be perfectly happy with the output.
The report looks excellent - I am sharing with some of my colleagues for their input. Just the right amount of perspective.
